Cracking The Crew Introduction Post

I've created this Blog as a sort of headquarters for people trying to crack The Crew Beta. I believe this will be easier to accomplish if everyone works together. In my opinion, the dead line for cracking this beta should be November 1st. The game comes out November 11th, so it would be ideal to crack this well before November as the beta will be obsolete and we will all rather play the real game.

Skidrow may or may not be working to crack this. They have been notified by multiple people via Email so they are aware of the Beta. When I realized that there was a chance Skidrow wasn't even working on cracking this, I decided it was time to attempt it myself.

I discovered that the Executables for this beta are encrypted with Upolyx v0.5. There are guides on how to decrypt Upolyx; but I've discovered a useful program called PE Explorer that has a built in Upolyx Unpacker. Earlier I unpacked the Exe's and disassembled them. I could see the code for the launcher, and the game executable. I'm familiar with a lot of the coding used; but don't really know how to modify or manipulate it.

This game is an MMORPG. This doesn't mean that it can't be cracked. There should be a way to create a Private Server that would allow someone to play this game alone on their own server. I don't have any experience with hosting servers; so anyone who is savvy with this should comment on this post.

Most of us trying to crack The Crew are just regular people. Not master hackers, or programmers. If Skidrow isn't working on cracking this; hopefully we can do it ourselves. At the moment I haven't found any exploits or possible modifications that could be made to the EXE's. I will try and get a post out tomorrow with any updates I have. In the meantime, here are some images of the code found inside the Crew Launcher exe, as well as my favorite game play videos of the Crew to help encourage programmers to crack this game!

Anyone see anything in this code that could be exploited? I've included the first 30 or so lines, and another random part of the launcher that includes the Time System for the EXE. As you can see in the third image, this is the disassembled Crew Launcher Executable
